Selection of Schooling is a Major Decision

Where should I send my child for schooling or which Montessori should I choose? This is a very common discussion among parents of early aging children. No doubt, that every parent wants to give child a best education among all but vision and practice are two different things. Parent wants their child to be successful in every aspect of life with the help of education given to him from the beginning but approach towards this visualization differs. Some calculates the standards in terms of spending well enough money in order to get child get best education.

But good parenting is not just a name of spending money no matter how much but lot more is required. This includes,

• The distance of school from home; very important as it is directly related to first basic education of child in which least time or zero time is preferable for zero activity of child. If you are sending to down town from your home 30km away, then how much time a child is spending in traveling instead of doing some other activity. The child will be more exhausted, wastage of time, wastage of resources etc.
• Environment or class from which you belong to and the school belongs to, matters a lot. You belong to middle class, while struggling a lot and by hook or by crook to give best education, you are sending him to elite school, not of your standard, then only the part of paying fee is done, but lot more challenges are left for child to face directly. Like branded shoes, eyeglasses, the car coming to pick him up, all these comparisons automatically generates in Childs mind and you cant stop this because if he is not thinking about this, might his colleague will put this thing in his mind and ultimately various symptoms in child will disturb you and then doctor tells you that these symptoms belongs to inferior complex in child.
• How much you are ready to spend time for your child for helping in his studies or mind is making up for tuition only? May be child want you to spend time with him even in studies, as in school as well, he was with teachers, now need guidance from parents, no more teacher, child wants to avoid tuition, as being further disciplined, tight scheduled, formal behavior etc. so again back to home is not back to home for him and studies with teachers becomes tragedy of their lives. This can effect behavior in child that can impact negatively in his studies, physical and mental health etc.

Hence, these three consideration remains in mind of parents that what you want to give your child and what ultimately your child is taken from you. He needs good education in all aspect and we have to care about this that if parents are thinking that elite education is best education for child, its wrong, instead, health both physical and mental is very important and primary concern of good parenting. Have to be work on this.
