Dealing with Teenagers needs Patience and Focus

When you turn from husband and wife to mother and father, a sudden awareness develops within you and with this buzz you spend your whole life. You tend to give the best life to your child. You enjoy their growth. But once your child enters thirteen, you seem to worried. The age between thirteen to nineteen is known as teenage and this is perhaps the most bothersome period of your Child’s life. This is the period between the childhood and adulthood. During this stage your child undergoes both mental and physical changes. It is seen that during this stage of a child’s life, the parents appear to be tenser for their wards. Teenage basically refers to physical changes, especially puberty; a child’s body becomes an adult body and acquires the capability of reproducing.
Teenage is that period where the parents need to take up some extra efforts for their growing child. This will help the child not to revert to a wrong track. Parents must be more friends rather than being more parents; this is the best solution to deal with the teenagers. You need to show your understanding and take them into your confidence. In this age your child prefers to take up new experiments, whether it is sex or whether it is drugs etc, there are many such problems that are related to the teenagers. When your child is depressed in his or her teenage, you need to focus on more being friendly, rather than giving him or her buzz of peer pressure. Peer pressure is something that a teenager finds difficult to comply with. Parenting this group is not easy and the parents need to be much more alert than any time before. During this period of growth, a teenager comes across several issues.
Falling in love, experiments with sex, attraction towards opposite gender etc comes along this age. When your daughter attains puberty, it’s the mother who needs to open up things to her and be friendlier than anyone. A mother can even be close to her son. Speaking to a teenager is not a matter of shame. You are the right person for your teenaged child to teach the lessons of his or her life. You have to make your wards to feel comfortable to say you the true things rather than bluffing around you. A teenager generally put across a question to himself or herself that “what I will be in my life?”. It’s the mother and the father who will explain the things to your child and help them to join hands and leave their life without repeating the faults. Sitting with your child and solving their problem will add to your experience too.
